Welcome #1 in Sweden! Our first shrine in Sweden comes thru the hands of Fr. Joseph Maria Nilsson, OFM/ CAP. Father was recently at the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi in Italy. There he was privileged to celebrate Mass at the Papal Altar where he specially prayed for Eucharistic Home ShrineS. Father read about us in a book, Catholic Customs and Traditions by Ronda Chervin. Thanks Ronda. This first Shrine Keeper in Sweden is Gunilla Ronquist

OUR NEW ST. ANDREW'S SHRINE: This Chalice and Host Shrine is pinned to our statue of St. Andrew. The Shrine was dedicated at the same time that our statue of St. Andrew was dedicated by Fr. Abraham Jacob on Nov. 26, 2002. Included in this drama are Kathrin Taylor, #4, now deceased, and who specially loved her first Class relic of St. Andrew; Mabel McManus, #475/1140 of Scotland and our Magadan, Russia Shrine Keepers, Alvina and Paul Veropayera, #1588.

James Townsend of Bonita, Ca, got his Shrine thru Fr, Abraham's web page. This Shrine carries a very interesting story and double blessing from Fr. Peter Lechner s.P.

# 3055

Sr. Kathleen Marie Ann Wilkins, OFM is a member of the Atonement Society. Sister's Shrine also carne from Fr. Abraham's web.

# 3056

A letter discussing his new Deacon, Sidney de Oliviera, came from Bishop Capistrano Heim, OFM of Itaituba, Brazil. He tells of the exciting Deacon ordination on July 27th and then, he writes, "Sidney is living here in the Bishop's house with me, and I am personally directing his Pastoral work here as a Deacon and will prepare him for the Priesthood on December 20th, God willing. He is using the Chapel here in my home, WHICH I HAVE DESIGNATED MY EHS, AS YOU KNOW,...yours in Christ, the Good Shepherd, Bishop Capistrano F. Heim, OFM."

Truthfully, I did not know the good Bishop's chapel was an EHS Shrine. I must not have received one of his e-mails or other messages. At any rate, with open arms, we accept his chapel as Shrine.
