Welcome #1 in Sweden! Our
first shrine in Sweden comes thru the hands of Fr. Joseph Maria Nilsson, OFM/
CAP. Father was recently at the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi in Italy.
There he was privileged to celebrate Mass at the Papal Altar where he
specially prayed for Eucharistic Home ShrineS. Father read about us in a
book, Catholic Customs and Traditions by Ronda Chervin. Thanks Ronda.
This first Shrine Keeper in Sweden is Gunilla Ronquist

first Class relic of St. Andrew; Mabel McManus, #475/1140 of Scotland

A letter discussing his new Deacon, Sidney de Oliviera,
came from Bishop Capistrano Heim, OFM of Itaituba, Brazil. He
tells of the exciting Deacon ordination on July 27th and then, he
writes, "Sidney is living here in the Bishop's house with me, and I am
personally directing his Pastoral work here as a Deacon and will prepare him
for the Priesthood on December 20th, God willing. He is using the Chapel
here in my home, WHICH I HAVE DESIGNATED MY EHS, AS YOU KNOW,...yours in
Christ, the Good Shepherd, Bishop Capistrano F. Heim, OFM."
Truthfully, I did not know the good Bishop's chapel was
an EHS Shrine. I must not have received one of his e-mails or other
messages. At any rate, with open arms, we accept his chapel as Shrine. |
