Fr. Luke Zimmer
A priest's blessing is required. Hundreds of ShrineS have been blessed in general audiences by several Popes. Many ShrineS have been blessed by Pope John Paul II in Rome, Africa and/or the United States. Our newest innovation with ShrineS we give out, is to touch them to the monstrance during Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament, giving further witness to our belief in his Divine Presence. Keepers may also dream up their own ShrineS and arrange for a blessing from their favorite priest.
One of Pope Paul VI's monthly intentions was that there be greater communication between those of us still living and those "who sleep in Christ." Several ShrineS have been dedicated posthumously for Popes, canonized Saints, priests and lay people. We could write a book on the results of the intercession of these potent Heavenly Shrine members.
Altogether, more than 100 ShrineS have been dedicated for priests. In the case of busy priests, we do not load them down further with prayers, but we ask them to ask Our Blessed Lord one time only to come to us and to all of our ShrineS from the Elevations in all of their Masses the rest of their lifetime.
Three Masses are celebrated each month with the hope that our lives, in the spirit of Fatima, become holy patens upon which we offer Love, Obedience, (especially to the Magisterium), Tears and Sacrifice to Jesus and Mary, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world. Additionally, dozens of Masses are celebrated on all seven continents on our October anniversary. This year 45 Masses, plus, will have been celebrated on all seven continents--in thanksgiving for our 45-year history! Our Mass total for this year will be more than 90 Masses celebrated for our membership! Thanks be to God!
Perhaps ShrineS may be viewed as something like TV sets themselves - as permanently channeled images of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - as dynamic, 20th century innovations, throbbing, pulsating with the love and Spiritual Presence of Our Blessed Lord as Keepers bring Him to us from the Elevations in all the Masses they attend. (Adorations and Benedictions are also acceptable.) And we do the same for all others who are hungry for this Living Bread. (You are the Living Bread come down from Heaven.) What a spiritual "feeding of the hungry" this must be! LOVE LOTS in Their Two Precious.
